JAMMU, Nov 18: Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Lifelong Learning, organized a counseling programme on “Career Planning At School Level” for the students of Arts stream in the premises of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari, which has been adopted by University of Jammu.
Subject-wise counselling was provided to students by the counselling team of special resource persons from JU. The objective of the programme was to help the students to know about new and emerging career options in different fields.
While inaugurating the programme, Dr Kavita Suri, Director and Head, DLL JU, stressed on the need of counselling programmes for the students, especially for girls students to become economically empowered.
About 80 students of 12th class participated in the programme.
The resource persons in the programme were; Prof. Baljeet Singh, Dr. Garima Gupta, Dr Sapna Sangra and Dr Rewa Khajuria.
