JAMMU, Nov 22: J&K Police Public School (PPS), Miran Sahib organized Bal Mela 2016 (Children’s Fest) in the School premises with pomp and show, here today.
Chairperson J&K Police Public Schools, K.Vijaya Rajendra was the chief guest on the occasion.
All the PWWA Members and School Management alongwith Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, DIG JSK Range and Deputy Director Prosecution, Purshotam Sharma were also present to grace the occasion
Mela was inaugurated by the chief guest along with all dignitaries and school staff. An array of Stalls with a variety of tangy and mouth watering food items, exciting Games, Rides & Raffle Draw were the attractions of the Bal Mela.
All the guests visited to all the counters to see the decoration of their stalls and also to hear the presentation prepared by the teacher’s and special prizes were given to best three stalls by the chief guest.
The Mela was followed by cultural programme by a group of children from Senior Wing.
Apart from Bal Mela Chairperson also inaugurated Smart Class which is very essential tool in today’s effective learning as well in the progress of the School. The School is now having 22 classrooms fully equipped with the Smart Class technology.
Principal of the School, Sanjeev Pradhan lauded the efforts of teachers and said that such Mela is aimed at providing children a chance to live and enjoy one day free from all worries.
