Srinagar, Nov 26: A youth hailing from North Kashmir’s Kupwara district attempted suicide.
A police spokesman said 21-year-old youth namely Mohammad Ramzan Chopan, a resident of Chopan Mohalla in Trehgam, consumed some poisonous substance at his home.
“He was shifted to PHC Trehgam for treatment where from he was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
