Lok Adalat held

KATHUA, Nov 29: A Lok Adalat was held in the District Court Complex, here under the chairmanship of Vinod Chatterji Koul, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kathua.
To settle the cases, two benches were constituted. The first bench comprised of Vinod Chatterji Koul, Principal, District and Sessions Judge, Kathua and Amarjeet Singh Langeh, CJM Kathua, while the second bench comprised of SC Katal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Kathua and Munish Kumar Manhas, District Mobile Magistrate Kathua.
A total of 8 criminal cases, 4 municipal complaints and 19 traffic challans were disposed-off. A fine of Rs 7500 was realized on the spot and recovery of Rs 26 lakh was awarded in favour of the bank.
