JAMMU, Dec 3: Director School Education Jammu , Babila Rukwal today inaugurated the 6th State Level Inspire Award Exhibition 2016 at Government Girls higher Secondary school Shastri Nagar organised by State Institute of Education Jammu.
In the exhibition 30 students of different schools of the State selected at District level Inspire Award Exhibition Participated
The chief guest saw every exhibit/model and interacted with the students, She appreciated the innovative ideas reflected through models and emphasised to put the ideas into practical productive utility so that real fruit of such exhibition reaches out to the society.
All the exhibits were evaluated by a jury comprising of Dr Arun Bharti, Deptt. of Physics, Dr Gita Sharma Deptt. of Botany and Dr Inderjeet Kour Deptt. of Chemistry, University of Jammu.
Karun Sharma and Gourav Sagotra from BBN H/S Vijaypur,(Samba) bagged the first prize while the second and third prizes were clinched by Sumit Khajuria GHSS Billawar (Kathua) and Ayda Arif of Kashmir valley School Budgam respectively.
The consolation prizes for two exhibits went to Tazkiya Zehra from Green View Magam Budgam and Yawar Abbas Bhat from BMS Gagarpura Budgam.
The prizes were distributed by Mohd Iqbal ,Joint Director Trgs/Principal SIE Jammu.
The Programme was coordinated by the nodal officer for Inspire Award Jammu Ajmer Singh Manhas (Research Officer) SIE and anchored by Deepak Sharma (Research Officer) SIE Jammu.
