DODA, Oct 7: Under Civic Action Programme (CAP), District Police Doda organized a Cross Country from Jathi to Assar, here today.
Apart from the youth in general, the students drawn from the schools of HS Jathi, HSS Assar, HS Bulandpur and HS Thanda Pani participated in the event.
Mohammad Arif Rishu, SP Doda flagged off the event in a well attended function.
The chief guest was accompanied by Surjeet Kumar Bhagat, Ajaz Zargar, Ravinder Rakwal, Assar and Om Prakash Bhagat.
Best three students each from boys and girls category were awarded with cash prizes, by the chief guest Arif Rishu on the occasion, while the other participants were awarded with certificates and consolation prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Doda exhorted upon youth to channelise their energies properly and not to derail from the mainstream.
