SAMBA, Dec 9: MLA Samba Dr DK Manyal today kick-started blacktopping work from SIDCO Phase two to Raipar Morh in presence of large number of people and other senior officers of the R&B Department.
The cost of the work is near about 80 lakh. Speaking on the occasion he said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area. The project was executed by PWD (R&B).
He directed the concerned Department to complete the work in stipulated time. He said that all the developmental works in Samba Constituency will be fast paced so that these can be completed in a time bound manner.
The previous regime of NC-Congress Government always thought of their personal benefits and they ignored the problems of common man by indulging in corrupt practices and doing low quality work which made the living conditions of the people pathetic said Manyal .
He said this time no compromise will be made with the quality of work and special care will be taken and this road will be very helpful for the people living in far away villages and local residents, he added.
Among others who were present including Jangvir Singh Chiku district president, Vinod Singh Binny, Shiv Lal Manyal Sanjeev Padha, Vikka, Naresh Amba, Mayank and officials of the concerned department.
