RYCC Behrampora lifts Police T20 cricket trophy

SRINAGAR, Dec 10: The final match of Police T-20 cricket tournament was played at Khushal Staidum Tulibal Sopore, besides inaugural function of the Sopore sports festival-2016 was held today.
The sports festival-2016 was inaugurated by SDM Sopore, Bashir Ahmad. The final of T-20 Cricket Tournament was played between Royal Youth Cricket Club Behrampora and Youth Boys Cricket team Rohama. Royal Youth Cricket Club Behrampora f the match by 17 runs.
The winning team was awarded the trophy, uniforms and cricket Kits alongwith a cash prize. The runner up team was also awarded with Trophies, Uniforms and Cricket Kit. Rouf Ahmad and Taimoor Ahmad were declared Man of the match and man of the series respectively.
The final match and the inaugural function of sports festival Sopore was attended among others by Commanding officers of 22RR, 52RR, 32RR, Commandants 179, 177 and 92 Bn. CRPF, Principal Degree College Sopore, Principal Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Sopore, Principal Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Sopore.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Sopore Hirmeet Singh said that sole aim of organizing such events and tournaments is to enhance the sports talent of the youth and added that Jammu and Kashmir police has remained on forefront for organizing such event.
