JAMMU, Dec 11: 62nd National Conference of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad is going to be held at Indore in Madhya Pradesh this year from 24-27 December.
This was stated by Varsha Jandial, State secretary of ABVP, here today, while releasing poster of the scheduled National Conference. She was accompanied by Ganesh Kunde, State joint secretary ABVP and Avinash Sethi, State office secretary, ABVP.
The National Conference of ABVP is an annual program, which provides the vision and mission for the working of ABVP in the whole year.
“About 10000 students from all over India and some neighbouring countries are expected to participate in the National Conference for discussion on various current social, security and educational issues,” Varsha said and added that several resolutions would be passed in the conference.
“About 150 students from J&K are expected to be the part of the upcoming event wherein new national president and national general secretary of ABVP for the session 2016-2017 along with the whole National Executive Council (NEC) would be declared. This year, there would also be a session of State Conferences of all the States, in which new State president and State secretary would be elected along with the whole team for the coming session,” Varsha informed.
