JAMMU, Dec 11: Academy Green crushed Academy Yellow by 6 wickets in the summit clash of the Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy Challenger Cup, organized by Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Academy Yellow scored 114 runs by losing all the wickets in 23 overs. Dhruv Singh Parmar, Arsh Aithmian and Arya Sachivansh Thakur chipped in 23 runs each.
For Academy Green side, Karmanya took 3 wickets, while Nalin Kamal and Avyukt shared two wickets each. Abu Bakar took one wicket.
In reply, Academy Green chased the target in 19.3 overs by losing 4 wickets. Ayush Andotra was the top score with unbeaten 83 runs, while Lavanya Sharma and Harsh Gupta made 10 and 7 runs each.
Ayush andotra was declared as Man of the Match, while Man of the Series trophy was clinched by Ayush Andotra, Best Bowler award was presented to Karmanya and Abu Bakar, Best Batsman award was secured by Arya Sachivansh and Best Fielder award was given to Aniket Mahajan.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Chief Coach Sukomal Ganguly.
