Raffle Draw prizes handed over to winner

ADGP Headquarters, SP Vaid presenting key to the Ist prize winner of the Raffle Draw Prizes at Srinagar on Monday.

SRINAGAR, Oct 8: Fabulous prizes of 21st Police Public Mela, which was held at Bakshi Stadium on September 30, were handed over to the winners by the Additional Director General of Police, (ADGP) Headquarters, S P Vaid and other senior police officers at Police Headquarters here today.
In all nine prizes of the raffle draw were handed over to the winners at an impressive function held in the PHQ premises.
On this occasion Vaid congratulated the prize winners and extended good wishes to them for their happy and prosperous life. He also gave them valuable suggestions to make best use of these prizes.
The prizes distributed among the winners include first prize three Figo Cars to Prayana Gupta daughter of Deepak Gupta, a Shopkeeper from Jammu against raffle draw ticket No: D-11443, Mohammad Latif R/o Reasi against ticket No: B-20657 and Mubarak Ahmed, Head Constable of IRP 1st Batallion, against ticket No: C-14030.
Similarly, the second prize two Spark Cars were handed over to Altaf Hussain, SPO from Udhampur against raffle draw ticket No. C-69831 and Mohammad Shafi, SGCT against ticket No: B-77634.
Likewise, third prize Alto Car handed over to Showkat Ahmed a TDC student from Bijbehara, Kashmir against ticket No: D-23034. Fifth prize two Activa Scooties to Suhail Ahmed, a shopkeeper from Chanapora against ticket No: C-74760.
Eleventh prize Microwave Oven was handed over to Constable Bagwat Singh of JKAP 7th Batallion, against ticket No: B-24842.
Bumper prize comprising of one Nano Car, Washing Machine, AC.75, Micro Oven, Laptop, Handicam, Mobile phone and Dinner Set was handed over to Raj Kumari of Kathua against ticket No: B-95560.
The prize winner hailed the transparent process in which raffle draw was held and expressed hope that they will participate in such Melas in future also. They said that the Police Public Melas have become more attractive for the people and they wait for these Melas anxiously.
Among others, the function was attended by Inspectors General of Police, V K Singh,   Owais Ahmed and Arun Kumar Choudhary, DIsGP, S S Khandare and R P Resutra, Deputy Director Prosecution PHQ, Gowhar Hussain Mir, AIG (Welfare) PHQ, R. S. Sambyal and other senior police officers.
