KATRA, Dec 12: Priyanka won Under-17 and Senior girls Table Tennis titles in the Reasi District Table Tennis Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Sports Complex, here.
Sunil emerged winner in Under-14 boys category, while Sushant claimed senior boys title.
The tournament was held under the supervision of president Reasi District Table Tennis Association, Amit Heera, who said that the objective of organizing the tournament was to promote sports by providing opportunity to budding sportspersons, besides helping youth not to derail from the mainstream.
Additional CEO, SMVDSB, Dr M Kumar was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Dr Ashok Sahrma, SDPO Katra was the guest of honour and Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ajay Sharma as the special guests.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ajay Sharma, AEE PHE Katra, Sohan Chand, Ashish Padha, Vishal Kapoor and Parveen Singh.
