JAMMU, Dec 13: Dewanini V. Badrinath Trust run Institutions namely DBN Amarvilla, DBN Mubarak Mandi and SNS Vidya Mandir organized joint annual function at Abhinav Theatre, here.
Major General, Shiv Kumar Sharma AVSM (Retd.) was the chief guest on the occasion and Choudhary Lai Singh, Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment J&K Government presided over the function.
The chief guest and guest of honour were welcomed by presenting guard of honour by school band. Tilak at the entrance and bouquet were presented to the guests. The function began by lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and guest of honour accompanied by Chairman Virendrajeet Singh, Nandita Singh, Gauri Nayar.

Bande Matram was presented by school students. Annual reports of schools were read out by Principals to the Institutions Indu Puri, Neelam Sabharwal and Praveena Jha. Twenty one teachers of the trust run Institutions were honoured for their PDP Programme. Advisors Leela Karan Sharma, Yash Puri and Dr. Ramakant Dubey were also present on the occasion.
Programme presented a theme Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat with a valuable message in the society. The students of trust run institutions participated in the programme. The presiding officer of the function Ch. Lal Singh in his speech appreciated the attempt of the students in highlighting the theme.
