JAMMU, Dec 14: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today threatened for “Jammu bandh” if ex-gratia relief is sanctioned in favor of the anti-national’s families.
Addressing the JWAM activists who today held a protest demonstration against PDP-BJP coalition Government’s decision to provide ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh and a Government job to the family of Khalid Muzafar Wani, a Hijbul Mujihidan activist and the brother of dreaded terrorist, Buhran Wani, chief of Hijbul Mujahidin, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said that on one hand the State Government has failed in restoring peace in the Valley, which is burning for last five months and on the hand it is adopting soft approach towards militants.
He said that earlier chief minister has released 634 stone pelters and gave Hurriyat leaders free hand to hold anti-India rallies on the Indian soil and now she is compensating the families of militants. As BJP is ally in the Government, it is equally responsible for this anti-national decision of the Government headed by PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti.
Asking BJP to clear its stand on the issue, Dimple said that if the decision is implemented, JWAM will start a strong agitation and won’t hesitate even in resorting to ‘Jammu bandh’.
