JAMMU, Dec 15:In an urgent meeting of the non-official members of the governing body of Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society (MMJHS), the members expressed their serious concern regarding the fast deteriorating condition of the buildings of Mubarak Mandi complex and the official apathy towards this prestigious heritage, which is the symbol of identity of the Dogras.
The members urge upon the Chief Minister to meet the non official members at the earliest to plan and decide appropriate course of action and warned that if this opportunity is not provided to them, they will be compelled to adopt other means to express their dismay and resentment. They also decided to stage a dharna at the Mubarak Mandi complex on December 26, 2016 in case no meeting is held for the purpose.
Those, who participated in the meeting, included, Th Gulchain Singh Charak, Maj. Gen G S Jamwal, Prof Lalit Magotra, Narinder Singh Jamwal, Prof Veena Gupta, A V Gupta, Zaffar Khan, Prof Zahur-ud-Din, Mul Raj Abrol and Prof. Asha Sharma.
