JAMMU, Dec 17: J&K State Pensioners’ Association (JKSPA) has demanded the State Government to implement 7th Pay Commission recommendations at the earliest and release DA installment due since July 2016 in favour of employees and pensioners.
Addressing a meeting of the association, Krishan Singh, JKSPA president, said that due to anti-people and anti-working class policies of successive Central and State Governments the prices of essential commodities like wheat, flour, rice, vegetables, pulses, etc are rising sky high day by day due to which not only pensioners but also the employees are facing financial hardships for quite a long time.
He said that any further delay in conceding the aforementioned and several other common as well as sectional grievances will cause resentment and anguish among the employees and pensioners all over the State against the Government.
