JAMMU, Dec 19: Newly elected national secretaries of Indian Youth Congress (IYC), Dr Uma Shankar Pandey, Shishpal Singh and Abid Kashmiri were accorded warm reception by the president J&K Youth Congress Pranav Shagotra and others PYC leaders on their arrival here today.
On their arrival here at party office from Union capital today, the IYC secretaries were garlanded profusely by the PYC workers, who were raising slogans in support of their leaders and Congress party.
While addressing PYC workers the new secretaries expressed gratitude to AICC president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi, AICC general secretary Ambika Soni, secretary Suraj Hedge and National president Youth Congress Amarinder Singh Raja for the induction.
PCC senior vice president Sham Lal Sharma was also present there and he welcomed the newly appointed national secretaries. DCC Jammu Urban president Anil Chopra also witnessed the occasion.
Addressing gathering PYC president, Shagotra said that people are being harassed in the name of surgical strike against black money. The people are being deprived to withdraw and their legitimate money in banks. Lashing out at Modi Govt, he alleged all ‘big corporate friends ‘of BJP had settled their black money well before he made his decision public on November 8 but the common people and poor are facing hardships on this count.
