JAMMU, Dec 20: Minerva School of Learning, Akalpur Road, Muthi celebrated Annual Sports Week with pomp and show, here.
Zonal Education Officer Jammu was the chief guest on the concluding function.
Various games and sports were organized during the week and the main attractions of the concluding function were Kabaddi, Skipping, Badminton, Long Jump. Sack Race, Lemon and Spoon Race, Frog Race, Blowing of Balloons, Bursting of Balloons and Tug of War.
Those who won gold medals included Sourav, Bhargwesh, Madhuir, Bhumika, Shriya, Sanvi, Akshita, Madhur, Rudrakshi, Devesh, Arvind, Shiksha, Khushboo, Pragya, Muskan, Tanishka, Naman, Samar and Bhavik, while the silver medals went to Shivam, Kritik Dhar, Vitasta Jeneve, Akriti, Akhil, Saksham and Sourav and the bronze medals were bagged by Lakshya, Deepshika, Himanshu, Aradhya, Rudharakshi, Trisandhya, Shanya and Kushboo Goria.
Earlier, Principal of the School, PL Raina presented welcome address, while vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Anjini.
