JAMMU, Dec 21: Doon International School celebrated its second Annual Day ‘Spectrum 2016-17’ depicting life in colours through a spectacular, exuberant and colourful show presented by the DABS of Doon International School.
To enhance the elegance of the show, Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commisioner Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion along with the patron of Doon International School Dehradun,  DS Mann and MK Mann as the special guest of the function. Also present on the occasion were the guests of honour Padmashree SP. Varma, President Gandhi Global Family, Jatinder Singh Director Forensic Department, Vijay Puri renowned educationist and KCS Mehta, Principal APS Akhnoor. Dr Kharu was also present on the occasion.
After the welcome address, the Principal of the school, Vikesh Kaur presented the annual report of the school highlighting the achievements throughout the year.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Pawan Kotwal Divisional Commissioner Jammu emphasized on the importance of value based education in today’s time along with the pragmatic approach to keep a pace with the global scenario.
The students of DIS presented a marvelous show depicting the relation of each colour with one or the other emotion as well as value of life.
