JAMMU, Oct 9: A delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) Colleges met Divisional Commissioner and submitted memorandum for Chief Minister, pertaining to their demands.
Demanding early intervention of the CM into the problems being faced by ETT Colleges, they also urged him to order an enquiry against the alleged corrupt malfunctioning of the Chairman, BOSE and appropriate orders to the concerned quarters for redressal to their issues.
They apprised Divisional Commissioner about long pending ETT exams of 2008-10 session due to which more than 20,000 students from outside the State were getting affected.
Divisional Commissioner assured the delegation that he would refer the memorandum to Chief Minister with required recommendations.
JAC delegation comprised of Hari Dutt Shishu, Deep Singh, Kamal Gupta, Gurtaj Singh, KK Chadda, KK Pandoh, Nirmaljeet Singh, Surjeet Singh Jamwal and Sanjay.
