KATHUA, Dec 24: Khanna Cricket Club Jargaon and R&R Sports Delhi register victories in the ongoing 7th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium,here.
Earlier, in the 12th match of the Championship, Joshi Academy Jalandhar won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 84 runs by losing 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. Gurpreet scored 22 runs off 23 balls. Manpreet and Sunil Dalal of Khanna Cricket Club Jargaon were the main successful bowlers who took 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Khanna Cricket Club Jargaon chased the target easily by losing 1 wicket 7.1 overs. Ramandeep singh was top scorer who scored 42 runs in 26 balls with the help of 1 six and 7 boundaries. Manpreet who took 03 wickets just conceding 15 runs in 03 over’s was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs. 2100 and a trophy by Mahajan Enterprises
In the 13th match, R&R Sports Delhi won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 202 runs by Losing 05 wickets in 20 overs. Kuldeep Hudda and Aman khatri were top scorer who scored 75 and 54 runs respectively. Hritik was the main successful bowler who took 2 wickets JKP-XI Jammu could not chased the target and manage to score only 110 runs in 17.1 overs by losing 10 wickets. Suryansh of JKP XI Jammu was the top scorer with 48 runs off 32 balls with the help of 10 boundaries.. Ankit and Ashwani of R&R Sports ook 3 wickets each .
Kuldeep Hudda of R&R Sports Delhi was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs. 2100 and a trophy by Nitin Sharma, Owner Suraj Chanda Showroom.
