JAMMU, Dec 27 : IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp organized a one day workshop on “Java Programming & its Applications” by experts from Jetking Private Limited for the students of Computer Sciences and information Technology Departments.
Er Naveen Sharma, Director, Jetking Private Limited and Er Davinder Singh, senior trainer, were the resource persons who apprised students about the latest trends in IT sector.
The workshop was followed by Personality Development session by Priya Raina, HR Manager, Jetking Private Limited which included different aspects of personality development like preparing students to face job interviews with special focus on communication skills, body language and resume making.
Speaking on the occasion, Er Ajay Amwal, Dean, Administration, IECS Polytechnic, asserted that such kind of workshop provides maximum overall exposure to polytechnic students, making them more compatible with today’s industrial requirement.
Er Amit Sharma, HOD Computer Sciences Department, coordinated the workshop.
