ICCR Jammu to present ‘J&K Cultural Show’

Jammu, Dec 27: Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Jammu (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is going to present a dance show based on the diverse cultural traditions of Jammu and Kashmir devised by Balwant Thakur in the honour of Prime Minister of India on January8 at Bengaluru in 15th Bhartiya Pravasi Divas in which representatives of 30 million NRIs and PIOs from across the world will participate.
In this connection a group of accomplished performers headed by Balwant Thakur will fly to Bangaluru on 5th of January where it will rehearse on 6th and 7th for a grand spectacular performance on 8th January, 2017.
Terming this as a great honour for ICCR Jammu, the Regional Director of ICCR Balwant Thakur informed in a press briefing at ICCR Jammu headquarters that all has been possible because of the constant efforts of ICCR Jammu in achieving high levels of professional standards which match with the International performance standards.
Recently ICCR Jammu mesmerised thousands of world audiences at the Trafalgar Square, London and now this will be yet another accomplishment of the organisation to perform before the Honourable Prime Minister of India who will inaugurate this prestigious three day world event in the IT-BT capital of India Bengaluru, he added.
