RAJOURI, Jan 7: Army came to the rescue of a girl who fell seriously ill in Guleer village of Budhal tehsil of Rajouri district today.
Identified as Ulfaat Naz daughter of Mohammad Rafiq resident of Guleer village of Budhal, the villagers though tried hard to take the girl to local hospital failed to do so due to heavy snow fall in the area with the result the condition of girl deteriorated.
Seeing the gravity of the situation the villagers then approached local army (RR) Unit Samote. Later a team of army along with a doctor in an ambulance rushed to the spot, who shifted the girl to army medical centre where she is under treatment now.
Girl is now properly responding to the treatment but is still under care as her condition is not stable fully.
The local people have expressed gratitude to the army for the cooperation shown by it in saving a precious life.
