350th Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Ji celebrated

JAMMU, Jan 9: 350th Parkash Ustav of 10th Guru Gobind Sahib Ji was celebrated at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Kapoor Singh Nagar, Gole Gujral, Jammu under the supervision of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Sheromani Dera Nanagli Sahib, Poonch.
Thousands of devotees participated in this Gurmat Samagam. Various Sikh organizations of J&K including Bhai Kanahya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and Sikh Naujwan Sabha also participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Parcharak Bhai Narinder Pal Singh of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib Delhi, Ragi Jatha Bhai Harpreet Singh of Darbar Sahib Amritsar also recited ‘Shabad Kirtan’.
Sant Tejwant Singh Ji also spoke and threw light on the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He also highlighted  that Guru Gobind Singh Ji made five things essential starting with the word “K” kaish, Kanga, Kara, Kirpan and kacha each having its own meaning and function, to wear for a Sikh, who shares Amrit.
MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa also participated in the Gurmat Samagam and threw light on the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and announced Rs 5 lakh from his funds for community hall at Gole Gujral, Jammu.
Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Sheromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch also threw light on the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji stressed upon Sikh community to adopt the path shown by Guru Ji in every field of life to become true and pure Sikh.
Manmohan Singh, chairman, Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Gole Gujral, also spoke on the occasion. Mohinder Singh (chief organizer, Bhai Kanahya Nishkam Society J&K and Ex-Member, DGPC Jammu), Dabinder Singh (Member, DGPC Jammu) and Kulwant Singh (chief advisor, Sikh Naujwan Sabha) also participated in the Samagam.
