CRPF man shoots self

SRINAGAR, Jan 12: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was critically injured after shooting himself with his service rifle in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A constable Beru Ram of CRPF’s 180 Battalion this morning shot himself with his service weapon inside camp at Tral.
The bullet hit in the trooper’s abdomen and was immediately rushed to nearby hospital by his colleagues after they found him lying in a pool of blood.
He was referred to army’s 90 base hospital for specialized treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
