JAMMU, Oct 11: J&K Speedball players sparkled in the 2nd National Federation Speedball Tournament by winning a big haul of 25 medals with 17 gold at Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, in Super Solo Event, Manthan Pandoh, Ritik Sharma, Manika Sharma, Sarthal Luthra, Sahil and Gurmehar Singh won gold medals, while Majeed claimed silver and Mrinank Gupta and Jasdeep Singh bagged bronze.
In Single event, Manika Sharma, Rhea Tickku and Sahil Janjua bagged gold, Zulfikar Malik and Sarthak Luthra claimed silver, while the bronze medal went to Veermanyu Singh, Harsh Sharma and Pranay Gupta.
In the doubles event, Gurmehar Singh and Zulfikar Malik claimed gold in Under-14, Rhea and Sahil claimed gold in Under-17, while Majeed and Manika bagged gold in Above-18 event.
According to a handout issued here, the Jammu and Kashmir team won overall championship in the event.
