Unemployed Kashmiri migrant youth raising slogans during protest at Jammu on Friday.

JAMMU, Oct 12: All the un-employed Kashmiri migrants youths under the aegis of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) organised a scooter rally cum protest rally from its headquarters to Press Club.
Amid slogans the un-employed youth urged the Union Home Minister for his personnel intervention to resolve the genuine demands including selection of unemployed youth, immediate advertisement of remaining 3000 posts out of sanctioned 6000 jobs by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and releasing of relief and ration benefits in favour of the families, who have joined their services in the Valley under PM’s package.
RK Bhat, president, YAIKS and member, Apex Advisory Committee, resolved to continue their protest till full 6000 jobs would be implemented.
He said that the Government should advertise the remaining 3000 posts at an earliest and consider the recent fresh applications from the quota.
Bhat said it is the last chance for those 200 candidates, who are seeking justice from the Court of Law, as they are at the verge of crossing their age limit and merit.
He appealed all the community members and leaders for their support and encourage such youth till their demands reach to a logical conclusion.
Among others who spoke were Sanjay Pandita, Sandeep Bhat, Ajay Raina, Pooja Ganjoo, Sunil Bhat, Sarish Raina, Rajoo ji, BK Bhat and Sunil Koul, vice presidents, Manoj Handoo, general secretary, Deepak Koul, etc.
