JMC seals 2 premises, demolishes illegal constructions

JAMMU, Oct 13: In its drive against illegal constructions and encroachments, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today sealed two premises and demolished illegal constructions in the city outskirts, with the help of police.
The enforcement staff of JMC led by Chief Enforcement Officer, sealed the premises of one Sunil Kumar, son of Late Inderjeet Bhasin at 87 BC Road, Rehari Chungi, as the said person was violating the status Quo Order of J&K Special tribunal, Jammu.
The Poultry Farm shed of Ram Paul, son of Sain Dass at Mohalla Gole near Surgal Mandir, Talab Tillo, was also sealed, as it was causing inconvenience to general public residing in the area.
The team of enforcement staff also demolished a wall, which was raised by encroaching upon lane at Priya Darshani lane, Paloura, and causing obstruction and hindrance to the passers by. Besides, the team also demolished the ongoing unauthorized construction being raised in front set back area at 19 B/B Gandhi Nagar.
