3 injured in road mishaps

RAJOURI, Feb 1: Three persons including a minor school  girl were injured in separate road accidents in Rajouri and Mendhar today.
A police  spokesman said that biker Ghulam Murtaza, son of Mohd Salim, resident of Saleri village in Sunderbani was injured after his motorcycle was hit by a Tata Magic vehicle near Thanda Pani today. He was rushed to Sunderbani hospital and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. Police has taken cognizance.
In yet another accident  with bus in Nowshera area, a biker  Nitin Kumar, son of Kali Dass, resident of Bagnoti village was injured. He has been admitted to Nowshera hospital.
Report from Mendhar said that a little girl, Rabia Zulfkar, daughter of Zulfkar Ahmed, resident of  Sakhi Maidan was  hit by a Tempo when she was returning home from school. The girl in serious condition was rushed to   SDH Mendhar and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The Tempo driver escaped with vehicle but later, police seized the vehicle. The driver was absconding. A case has been registered in this connection.
