HIRANAGAR, Feb 2: Hiranagar Police has rescued three bovine animals late last night and seized a Bolero bearing registration number PB 02CR 6873 in which they were being smuggled.
According to police a police party led by SI Anand Dutta under the supervision Amit Sangra SHO Hiranagar at Sharpur Border road seized a vehicle Bolero after a hot chase and rescued three buffaloes from it.
However the driver of the vehicle fled after taking the advantage of darkness.
The Hiranagar Police has registered a case under Section 188 RPC 3 PCA Act in this regard.
