SHOPIAN, Feb 3: Extending a helping hand to the talented youth of Kashmir, police today said it will sponsor two girls who will represent the country in the forthcoming Tri-Nation Competitions for Sqay Martial Arts to be held at Nepal in February.
Hailing from South Kashmir’s Shopian District the Girls had participated in several National and International events and had got into the limelight after winning the recently held South Kashmir’s Sports festival which was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shopian, Tahir Saleem also assured the girls that he will also approach to the Sports Council Jammu and Kashmir to get their coaching and travel sponsored.
