MENDHAR, Oct 14: J&K players brought laurels to the State by winning 2 gold and 4 silver medals in the 3rd South Asian Sqay Championship, which concluded recently at Tissmehrama, Sri Lanka.
In the championship, India lifted over all champions trophy by wining 8 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The players who clinched the medals were Salma Rashid (Gold), Sakeena (Gold), Ramees Ahmed Khan (Silver), Isran Khan Janjua (Silver), Basser Khan (Silver) and Amjid Ahmed Khan (Silver).
