Development of rural infra BJP’s top priority: Manhas

JAMMU, Feb 12: Member Parliament (MP) Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas said that development of rural infrastructure in State is BJP’s top priority. Many development works have been started by the State and Central Government for upliftment of the rural people.
While inaugurating the 100KV transformer and lane-drain work at Mishriwala, Manhas reiterated that BJP is committed to provide basic amenities to the people of State.
Manhas inaugurated transformer of 100KV at Mishriwala and handed over to the people of area costing Rs 4.41 lakh. He also inaugurated lane and drain work at village Mishriwala worth cost of Rs 8.15 lakh out of his MPLAD fund. Manhas said people of the area are suffering from low voltage and after installation of new transformer, students and farmers will get benefit for their studies and irrigation purposes.
Manhas said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitely, Central Government has started many schemes for the welfare of rural people. Its our duty to make people aware about the schemes launched by the central government so that people can get due benefit from these schemes.
He added that union budget presented by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is total focused towards the people of country.
On the occasion State Vice President Bharat Bhushan, State President Kissan Morcha Rajinder Singh Chib, district president Omi Khajuria, Kuldeep Singh, Raghuvir Singh and other people of the area were present.
