MLA visits Gandri, inaugurates transformer

RAMBAN Feb 12: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Langeh visited Gandri area and inaugurated 100 KVA transformer.
During the visit several deputations drawn from surrounding areas called on MLA and apprised him about their demands and problems being faced by them. MLA gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the people.
In most of cases, MLA gave on the spot instructions to the officers concerned for early mitigation of their genuine demands. He directed the officers to disseminate the awareness among the general public about different welfare schemes launched by State as well as Central Government.
Meanwhile, he sanctioned Rs 5 lakh for the construction of water reservoir and also announced installation of electric polls.
MLA assured the people that their pending demands will be fulfilled in time frame manner.
He asked the local leaders to gear up to participate in the forthcoming panchyat elections by activating grass root workers. He also announced the sanction of Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch in Gandhri.
MLA was accompanied by the officers and officials from local administration.
