DODA, Feb 16: Doda Riders defeated Faridia Fighters by 9 wickets in the ongoing T-10 Cricket Warrior Cup at Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier, Doda Riders won the toss and put Faridia Fighters to bat.
Batting first, Faridia Fighters set a target of 63 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 10 overs. Shoaib Jaan was the top scorer with 22 runs off 17 balls. For Doda Riders Kasif took 4 important wickets for conceding 8 runs in his quota.
In reply, Doda Riders managed to chase the target in the 7th over of the innings for the loss of 1 wicket.
For Doda Riders, Sourab and Sahil contributed 30 runs each. Kashif was adjudged as man of match.
Ranjeet Singh, ACR DPD was the chief guest on the occasion.
The tournament is being organized by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda and Doda Warrior Sports Club.
