DODA, Mar 3: The National Health Mission employees of the district under the banner of NHM Employees’ Association (NHMEA) today held a sit-in-protest here at CMO Office under the chairmanship of district president of NHMEA, Faizan A Tramboo.
Speaking on the occasion, Tramboo condemned the arrest and police laticharge on peacefully protesting NHM employees of Kashmir Division in Srinagar. He said that Government was trying to gag the voice of NHM employees, who were projecting their genuine and long pending demands in a democratic manner.
Tramboo further said that these repressive measures by the Government would not demoralize the NHM employees and they will continue their struggle for fulfillment of their genuine demands.
The dharna-cum-protest was also joined by Provincial president of JKMEF, Sushil Sudan, general secretary, Vinod Kumar and other representatives of JKMEF unit Doda.
