Srinagar, Mar 6: Three persons were injured in different road accidents in Kupwara and Budgam districts of Valley.
A police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number JK02T-1297 driven by Ishfaq Ahmad Sofi hit and injured a pedestrian namely Farooq Ahmad Beigh at Kawari village of Dragmulla in Kupwara district. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
The police spokesman said an ambulance bearing registration number JK09A-4829 driven by Abdul Hamid hit and injured a pedestrian lady namely Dil Beigh near J&K Bank in Zurhama village of Kupwara district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from she was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
The police spokesman said a vehicle bearing registration number JK01AA-9523 driven by Wahida Nabi collided with a Motorcycle at Peerbagh in Budgam district jurisdiction, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
