RAJOURI, Mar 7: A bike rider was seriously injured after he was hit by a Tata Sumo near Lamberi on Nowshera-Rajouri road this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that the accident took place at around 12. 20 pm when one Amit Kumar, son of Ram Lal, resident of Seot village was going towards Lamberi. A Tata Sumo vehicle, which was on way to Jammu from Rajouri side, hit the bike rider and threw him away with the strong push.
In serious condition, he was rushed to Sunderbani hospital where doctors referred him to GMC, Hospital Jammu after providing immediate treatment. Dharamsal Police has registered a case in this connection.
