REASI, Mar 21: Police today seized 100 bags of Government ration (rice), which were illegally kept in a private shop for black marketing of the same.
Police has also arrested the accused shopkeeper, who was identified as Talib Hussain, son of Gulab Din of Kundardhan, Tehsil .Chassana in Reasi district.
Acting on specific information, SHO Chassana, Gurvinder Singh alongwith Naib Tehsildar Narinder Kumar, conducted raid at the said shop in Kundardhan village and seized 100 bags of rice besides arresting the accused.
A case FIR number 10/17 under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Chassana.
