JAMMU, Mar 21: Hockey J&K IS organizing the State Hockey Championship 2017 for VK Kohli Memorial Trophy from March 23, 2017 at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
According to a handout issued here, six districts of Kashmir division and eight districts of Jammu division will be participating in this Champi-onship, which is being sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
Apart from the district teams, the tournament will witness the participation of the teams from J&K Police, BSF Jammu and BSF Kashmir. A toal of eighteen teams will be participating in the tournament.
The three matches to be played on the inaugural day will be played between Baramulla and Jammu; District Poonch and BSF Jammu and District Shopian and Jammu Canton-ment at 10:30 am, 12 noon and 2 pm respectively.
