Ex-MLC seeks regularization of lecturers

JAMMU, Mar 22: Former MLC and chief spokesperson of PCC Ravinder Sharma, has lashed out at the indifferent approach of the Government towards the agitating contractual lectures.
In a press statement here today, PCC leader regretted that the Government has failed to initiate dialogue with agitating candidates, who are on fast unto death and chain hunger strike for the part over a month now.
It is a matter of shock that mother of  Vinod Kumar, who was on fast on to death, has expired, while his son was struggling for the cause of contractual lecturers. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family of Vinod Kumar and criticized the attitude of the State Government towards the highly educated youth serving for the past 10 to 12 years in different institutions on meager salaries. They deserve to be considered for regularization and Government should immediately initiate dialogue with them and concede their demand, Sharma maintained.
