Relatives of electrocuted labourers stage protest

Srinagar, Mar 23: Relatives of two labourers, one of whom died and another got injured after getting electrocuted this month, staged a protest seeking ‘justice’ here in city centre today.
The relatives of two labourers – Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat and Zahoor Ahmad Bhat – assembled at Budshah Chowk, the spot where the duo got electrocuted while repairing electric line, and shouted slogans seeking ‘justice’.
While Mushtaq died on the spot, Zahoor suffered critical injuries. Both the labourers were working with a contractor. Although a probe was ordered by the Government into the incident while police also filed a case against the PDD, but so far no finding has been made public.
