BARAMULLA: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, today conducted an extensive tour to Pattan constituency, during which he took stock of various facilities being provided to the people.
During his visit, the Minister inaugurated water supply schemes under National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) at Gohal Tangpora and Rambail areas of the Pattan Tehsil executed at a cost of Rs 1.75 crore and Rs 50.52 lakh respectively.
District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Chief Engineer PHE, Joint Director planning, SDM Pattan, AEEs, Xens of line Departments and other concerned accompanied the Minister.
While addressing a public gathering at Gohal Tangpora, the Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to the welfare of people and said that present dispensation is striving to provide improved facilities to the people.
On the occasion, he was apprised about various issues and grievances confronting the people by various deputations. Ansari gave a patient hearing to the deputations and assured them of early redressal of all their genuine concerns on priority.
Later, the Minister announced that Gojbugh-Hamray link road will be macadamized and directed the concerned for early its execution, so that people at large are benefitted. He also said that separate playfields will be provided for Andergam and Aglar villages of Pattan each, besides renovation of high transmission and low transmission lines will also be carried out to improve electricity distribution system.
