SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said that PDP was working to “enhance the peace constituency” which would lead to the resolution of issues confronting the State.
“Since its inception, the PDP has provided an alternative narrative in Jammu and Kashmir and helped in enhancing the peace constituency in the State and the sub continent,” she said campaigning for the Srinagar and Anantnag Lok Sabha bypolls.
“The present polls are a step in further towards enhancing this peace constituency which will lead to the resolution of issues confronting the State,” Mehbooba said addressing her party workers of Kangan and Ganderbal here.
She asked the workers to explain to the people that voting for the PDP candidates would lead to a situation where “resolution of issues, dialogue with stakeholders, opening up of contact points and revival of brisk developmental activities becomes imperative”. (AGENCIES)
