JAMMU, Mar 27: J&K Police Central Hockey team will take on BSF Kashmir in the finals of the ongoing State Hockey Championship for VK Kohli Memorial Trophy, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
The Championship is being sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
Earlier, in the first semifinal played today, J&K Police Central Hockey team defeated BSF Jammu by eight goals to seven through penalty shootout, after both the teams scored 4 goals each in the stipulated time.
Manwinder Singh Dua was the chief guest on the occasion.
In another semifinal, BSF Kashmir defeated Jammu Rural by two goals to nil (2-0).
MY Kichloo, Staff Officer to ADGP Armed was the chief guest on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Vijay Vaid, Satvir Singh, Iqbal Singh, Karanjit Singh, JS Reen and Tournament Director MS Reen.
