JAMMU, Mar 28: The 20 meter long Indoor Swimming Pool of KC Sports Club is a busy place during summer and people of all ages make use of it for learning swimming, honing their skills or for just enjoying the cooling experience.
The Club organizes various swimming events from time to time to offer the members the opportunity to display their skills in the sport.
A swimming Competition for boys and girls in different age categories was organized at the Club today.
It was heartening to note that quite a few of the participants had learnt swimming recently and were eager to test their skill level in the competition. After a few heats, competitors made it to the final and the final turned out to be quite exciting as the swimmers put in their best effort to outdo each other using their own swimming styles since there was no restriction of using a particular style only. Eventually, in under-14 category of boys, Anshul Desai stood 1st whereas Arhan Jain and Ayush Parihar shared second and third place resepctively. In under-12 boys category, Ragav Jamwal and Arabhya Mahajan won the first and second position. In girls category, Suditi Jamwal stood 1st whereas Ekta Dhwani and Vibhuti Raina shared second and third position respectively.
