J&K to host Sub Junior Tong IL Moo-Do Championship in January

SRINAGAR, Oct 15: The players from J&K state will participate in 2-day 4th Sub Junior Tong IL Moo-Do Championship to be held at Pune, Maharastra from January 11th, 2013.
This was revealed at a meeting held here today under the Chairmanship of Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul.
The meeting was informed that the State will also organize the championship by the first week of January, 2013 at Jammu in which about 850 players are expected to be participate.
The meeting was informed that the J&K Tong IL Moo-Do Association organized various national and state level championships which include State Championship at Indoor Stadium, Srinagar, National Championship at Srinagar, North Kashmir District Championship at Kupwara and district championship at Ganderbal and Anantnag during this year. The Association will organize a coaching camp at Srinagar to impart training to the enthusiastic players, the meeting was told.
Addressing the meeting, the Advisor expressed satisfaction for the activities of the Association. He conveyed the best wishes to the players who are expected to participate in the 4th Sub Junior Championship and hoped that they will bring laurels to the State.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gul also complimented State Netfootball Association for securing third position in 4th All India National Netball Championship held at Samba. He arranged tour to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and Gulmarg for the players.
Among others, General Secretary, Tong IL Moo-Do Federation of India Mohammad Arshad, President, J&K Tong IL Moo-Do Association Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani and other executive members of the Association attended the meeting. Waseem Raja was the special invitee in the meeting.
