JAMMU: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit scheduled for April 2 to inaugurate Chenai-Nashri Tunnel and address a public rally in Udhampur district, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police S P Vaid today stressed for alertness in bordering belts, round the clock patrolling and tight vigil at all vital installations.
Expressing satisfaction over the security arrangements put in place by security agencies in connection with VVIPs visit, the DGP stressed on maintaining close coordination among the security agencies to ensure incident free visit of the Prime Minister.
Chairing a high level meeting here the Police Chief stressed upon the officers to sound alertness in the border areas and ensure round the clock patrolling. He asked them to raise vigil at vital installations including airport, railway stations and high ways by continuous surveillance. (AGENCIES)
