JAMMU, Mar 30: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers Association called on Project Director SSA and RMSA, Government of J&K, and submitted him a charter of demands.
The delegation, led by Hari Singh, provincial president of USTA, highlighted the demands, which included; release of pending salary grants of teachers and Master under SSA, release of arrears of voluntary converted regularized ReTs, etc.
The project Director Saugat Biswas assured that the salary grant would be released at the earliest.
The delegation comprised of Siraju Din Angar, Shaid Hussain, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ashraf Hussain and Nazir Ahmad Rishi.
